Hollywood: An Overview
OVERVIEW:
When entering from CityWalk, guests see the iconic sights. They see the spinning Universal globe. They see the arched gateway, welcoming them into the park. They will also see the main entrance beyond, where guests can find help and services and enter the park.
But once they make it in is when the real adventure begins. They are instantly immersed in a romanticized version of Hollywood, complete with palm trees, a walk-of-fame style sidewalk bearing the names of those who worked on the park, and several shops and restaurants.
However, this is more than just an entrance. It's where guests can get into the spirit of Hollywood. They can see some behind-the-scenes movie magic, as well as other amazing things. They can even see other lands from the end of the street.
One very notable spot is a tribute to Universal's legacy, which is found at a hub at the end of the street. Here, guests will see a statue is a scene starring Woody Woodpecker, King Kong, Frankenstein's Monster, and the Minions, and it is being filmed by the Universal founders.
