Lost World: Attractions (Part 3)
21 - Madagascar: A Crate Adventure
C-Ticket
Any Height
Go on a boat ride through Madagascar in this family-friendly boat ride.
QUEUE:
Guests walk through a covered pavilion with several fans. As they go through, guests can see newspapers and TVs telling guests the backstory. Alex, Marty, Melman, and Gloria have escaped the zoo and now they're being shipped to Kenya. Then, they board a boat fashioned after a crate. At the back of each one are funny puns that reference the film.
RIDE EXPERIENCE:
The crates move towards the boat and past the boxes. There, guests can hear the animals talking to each other. They then enter the boat itself, where they move through the inner parts of it. They see the shadow of a walking man attacked by the shadow of the penguins. In the next room, guests see the control room, where the penguins have taken over the ship.
Then, the boats exit the boat and enter the sea. They head towards the beach, where Marty, Alex, and the others have washed up. They wonder where they are as guests enter the jungle. As they go deeper, they see many animals, and hear a certain song "I Like to Move it, Move it" grow in the background.
Then, guests enter a party area, where King Julien and the lemurs are dancing. However, this party is interrupted when some foosa show up. Maurice shouts: "They've got Mort" as they exits the scene. They then enter a dark and rocky area where the foosa are cornering Mort. However, the penguins distract them with a flare gun. In the next sequence, Alex and the others are running away, trying to get Mort to safety.
Finally, in the last scene, guests enter the beach, where the lemurs are celebrating their victory. King Julien thanks the guests for helping, even though Maurice points out that all they did was sit in their crates and watch. They then pass by Marty, Alex, Gloria, and Melmen, who are drinking from coconuts in Marty's pavilion. Alex, however, spits and gasps, saying: "Marty, are you crazy? This is salt water!" After that, the crates leave the ship and return to the load station.
