Join the fearless feline on a harrowing mission to find a lost mirror with magical properties as you journey into the dungeons beneath the castle.

QUEUE:
At the edge of the Far, Far Away area is the castle. Here, the attraction is advertised in the courtyard. There, they enter into the entrance of the attraction. They go through several rooms of the castle, where they pass by several open books. This tells guests the story about how Shrek met Fiona, and eventually, married her. Also featured in the queue are several books about a magical hand mirror that could show someone anything they wanted to find. It belonged to Fiona's father, King Harold, but then he lost it when he accidentally dropped it into an open drain.

PRE-SHOW:
Soon enough, guests will enter into a library, where several storybooks are on the shelf. On the wall is the Magic Mirror, which comes to life and welcomes the guests. He explains why they are there. Shrek and Fiona are celebrating their wedding anniversary and they've invited guests to come here. Then, he gets interrupted by Puss, who appears atop a bookshelf. Puss explains that he is here to get a "surprise gift" for Shrek and Fiona, which happens to be the hand mirror. He tells the guests that they will be joining him, and although the Magic Mirror is a little offended that they're looking for another mirror, he willingly tells them how to get to the dungeon. He then reveals a secret elevator behind a mosaic.

Guests board the elevator and move down. Once the elevator stops (even though it doesn't really move,) guests enter into the dungeons. Here, they board a trackless ride vehicle designed to look like a carriage. They fit up to six people, with two rows of three. Guests climb on board and pull down their lap bars.

RIDE EXPERIENCE:
The vehicles move out of the loading area and pass by Donkey, who is looking around. He is wondering where Puss is, but the guests continue onward. There, they pass Kitty and Puss, the latter of which wonders how the carriages are moving horselessly. Kitty simply reveals that she used a fairy wand to do it. Afterwards, Puss orders the carriages to follow him, saying how, according to a map, the mirror is that way.

Soon enough, they come near a screen, where Puss says how the mirror should be down a waterfall. However, the Three Bears Crime Family appears, demanding the whereabouts of the mirror. Puss and Kitty try to cover this up, but their enemies already know. Goldilocks then pulls down a switch, causing the vehicles to move backwards out of the room.

The vehicles pass through a flooded hallway, the vehicles moving up and down to make it feel like they are floating. However, Puss finds the vehicles and moves them back onto the ground, right before they are about to go off a waterfall. They then enter a sloped area (another screen,) and then they go down it and into darkness.

The carriages then move through a chamber filled with treasure. Kitty and Puss acknowledge the treasure as the vehicles pass through. Guests approach the mirror, which is sitting on a table, but then Jack and Jill show up, threatening the guests. The vehicles then make a sudden escape into a hallway. Puss warns them not to go in there, but it's too late, because the ceiling gains spikes and starts moving down. Luckily, they get out just in time.

The vehicles pass into a room where Puss and Kitty have the mirror. However, both Jack and Jill and the Three Bears Crime Family show up, demanding the mirror. In a desperate attempt to get the vehicles out, Puss directs them into a room full of explosives. After lighting the fireworks, the vehicles fly out of the chamber and up into the castle grounds.

In the final scene, guests pass through the gardens of the castle, where many fairy tale creatures from the Shrek series appear. This includes the Three Pigs, Gingy, Pinocchio, and others. They then pass by Shrek and Fiona, who are happily acknowledging that they got the mirror. They ask how Puss got it, but he simply replies "it's a long story." They then pass by Donkey, who thanks the guests for coming as they head into the unload area.

POST-RIDE:
The Ride exits into Royal Treasures, a gift shop selling Shrek and Puss in Boots merchandise. This shop exits out into the castle courtyard as well.
