Hotels at Universal San Antonio Resort

This resort has three amazing hotels, each with their own theme and pricing. They are all located around a lagoon, making travel to the parks easy.

Universal Studios Hotel
Done in Spanish Mission revival style, this large hotel is themed to all things Hollywood. Here, guests can swim in the Blockbuster Pool, complete with a Jaws-themed fountain in the middle as well as two water slides, walk the butterfly garden, and even play some golf in the Classic Monsters Mini Golf. Guests can also have unique dining and rent out kids suites themed to How to Train Your Dragon, Despicable Me, and Jurassic World. The best part is that the stay comes with early park admission and unlimited Universal Express access. Do note that this is the most expensive hotel, with it being a deluxe value resort.

Universal's Tropical Resort
Taking inspiration from the South Pacific, this Polynesian-style resort fuses many cultures and cuisines to create a unique experience. From the largest pool in the resort to nighttime luaus, and even a tiki bar, guests will find a tropical paradise here. This is probably the most picturesque resort with its recreation of Pacific architecture, tropical plants, and its location right across from the lagoon, thus giving it a good view of Citywalk. This is a moderate value resort, meaning that it is the middle category of budgets.

Universal's Grand American Resort
Themed to traveling the United States, guests can come to this modest, two-building hotel with recreations of iconic landmarks, from the Statue of Liberty standing at the entrance to the hotel, to the recreation of Mount Rushmore by the pool. Although this hotel is not as fancy as the other two hotels, it is still worth seeing. In fact, this is the cheapest hotel with it being a family value resort. It's the most affordable hotel, and it's right by Citywalk, so it would be a nice stroll to get from one place to the other.
